NP/PA-Inpatient Hospitalist/Outpatient Perioperative Surgical Optimization

ThedaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Perioperative Services Team at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and Orthopedic, Spine & Pain Institute.

Position Details:

• Our team is looking to add 3 new providers! (0.75, 0.75, 0.1 FTE's)
• Monday-Friday: 1 week on 1 week off (TCA from 7a-12p & OSP from 12p-7p)
• Unique position to care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting while also cross training into an outpatient clinic for preoperative risk stratifications and evaluations. Role will directly influence quality outcomes of surgical patients including postoperative outcomes, same day surgery cancellations, care coordination, readmission prevention and system mortality index.

Outpatient: The staffed APCs will see these patients pre-operatively and will follow the patient post-op day one, collaborating with the hospitalists who may care for the patients throughout their staff to ensure they stay on the pre-defined pathway.
